2014 National Games are here

The 2014 Special Olympic Samoa National Games are set to rock Apia Park over five days from July 7 to 11. The biannual sports event for athletes with intellectual disabilities (ID) will host over 400 participants across sports including athletics, Soccer, Cricket and Bocce.

Athletes take home medals and magical memories

The National Games ended in Apia on Friday with a colourful closing ceremony that included a parade of athletes and dance item from every team. Exactly one week after the games were officially opened by His Honorable Prime Minister the athletes said goodbye to their new friends for another year.
